Rusty Duym, sailing buddy, tough competitor and worthy adversary passed away, bringing me to Maine for his memorial. Nate was kind enough to put me up in his house on MDI so I grabbed a quick hike. There weren't many trail blazes above the snow and no tracks to follow so I was probably off trail more than on. There are several places where the trail joins with the Summit Rd and on the second meeting, I stuck with the road as it was far easier to follow. Snow mobiles are allowed here thus the tracks.
